What should I bring to the first consultation?
Any recent dental X-rays you have, the list of your medication and your insurance documents. Medical information is handed to the dentist during the consultation.
The practice and appointments
If you have recent dental X-rays, whether a panoramic X-ray or more targeted images, bring them. They help the dentist understand how your situation has developed and sometimes avoid repeating an examination unnecessarily.
Prepare a list of the medication you take, as well as any allergies and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, a heart condition or anticoagulant treatment. This information is important for your safety during treatment.
These documents and medical details are handed directly to the dentist during the consultation. Never send them through the website’s online form, which is only for requesting a call back.
Also remember your insurance or mutual insurance card if you would like to put together a reimbursement claim. If you already have an estimate or a treatment plan drawn up elsewhere, you can bring it too so that it can be discussed.
This is a general answer. Only a consultation at the practice can tell what suits your situation.
